After sewing for over 35 years, the best thing about it is still the fact that I wake up each morning and love
what I do!  It is both relaxing and rewarding. A few years ago, I decided there were three things I wanted to
do in my life; be home all day, sew all day, and be around happy people. So when I made the decision to
make my business a full-time job out of my home, I felt very blessed to finally get it all!
                         
NancyOver the years, I have met the nicest people, and they travel from all over Iowa and the U.S. For instance, I had a bride from Mississippi contact me inquiring
about specific alterations she wanted done to her gown, and when I told her
that they could ALL be done, she sure enough came to Iowa, had her fittings
and was a beautiful, happy bride. She will always be my "Mississippi Bride".
                         
Bridal Fitting  I have altered gowns for brides in which their
 weddings took place in England, Greece, at the Waldorf
 in New York City, and even several island weddings. 
 Many of my brides send me wedding photos, and I
 continue to add to my collection, which is displayed in
 my office for everyone to enjoy and see the variety of
 bridal work that I have completed.
                         
 I do also alter street clothes for women, men, and
 children. Whether it is putting a zipper in a coat or
 hemming a pair of slacks or jeans. Maybe you have
 lost weight, but you just aren't quite ready to part with
 your old wardrobe yet... then bring them to me, and I
 will make them fit you again!

me they would be more than happy to speak with you.
                         
I work out of my home in the country. It is easy to get to (Visit my Contact page for driving directions), and many of
my customers tell me what a beautiful drive it is.
                         
I can give you an estimated cost over the phone, and once I see the actual sewing project, I will be able to
give you the total amount due before we even start any alterations. That way there are no surprises!
My goal is to have happy customers, which is what makes my work so fulfilling.
